Hawks win over Pacers to get 1 win of the year
The Hawks (1-1) played the Pacers (1-2) on a rematch of the the playoff series that went to game 7 on Saturday. The Hawks came out victorious with a 102 to 92 win that was sweet revenge for knocking the Hawks out of the playoffs. Roy Hibbert and Luis Scola came out with a double double and Chris Copeland leading the team in scoring with 21. Al Horford with 20 points and Jeff Teague with 25 and 6 assist lead the Hawks. The Hawks really controlled the whole game which they lead by 9 points by the end of the 1 quarter and keep the lead almost the whole time. Al Horford returned to play after having a injury that sat him out for half the season last season, but he was limited in minutes with Pero Antic almost splitting the time. The Pacers were missing all star player Paul George, because of a leg injury that occurred during his time with Team USA and will miss him for the whole year.
This is a great win for Hawks and also great revenge for almost upsetting the pacers in the playoffs last year, but came up just short. I wish that Paul George wasn't hurt so he could play, and best wishes to him recovering.

Chipper Jones thought's on being the batting coach for the Braves
As most of the people in Atlanta know, Chipper Jones is a legend. He was a legend that stayed with one team for his whole career, and luckily that just happen to be the Atlanta Braves, so when the braves fired their hitting coach, the manager for the Braves Fredi Gonzalez asked him if he wanted the job.
According to Carroll Rodgers Chipper responded with “I’m not ready to get back in uniform yet. It’s too soon and I don’t know if I’d be dedicated enough to the job right now. …”. Chipper does not want to take the job and not be fully commited and do what it takes to keep the Braves hitting numbers up. Chipper had a great career playing for the Braves for 19 years. Some of his states recorded by baseball-reference.com are his Batting avg. for his career was .303, had 468 total Home runs, and 2726 total hits.
I feel that he needs his time, but one day i would love if he would be the hitting coach for the Braves. Hopefully we will see Chipper back on the field, just in a different way.

Georgia pulls out a conference win against Tennessee
Georgia 35 Tennessee 32
On Saturday, A young Tennessee Voles came to Athens to face Todd Gurley and the Georgia Bulldogs and lost in a very close came. The game started with Tennessee up early by 10 to 0, but the Bulldogs put up a fight and came back with a 3 yd. touchdown run from quarterback Hutson
Mason after Gurley ran for 16 yd.(Towers) The defense stopped the Voles but quarterback Hutson Mason throw a interception on the next drive. On the next drive, the Bulldogs used running backs Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb to score and take a 14-10 lead(Towers). The Bulldogs then scored off of Chubb's touchdown catch. The bulldogs had scored 21 unanswered points so it was up to quarterback Worley and running back Hurdy for Tennessee to score and they did just that off of a 23yd. catch from wide receiver Jason Croon(Towers). The third quarter was silent scoring wise but the forth was different. The 4th quarter was also called the "Gurley Quarter" after he finished the day, according to Chip Towers, with his career high 208 yards on 28 carries. He had to big plays in the forth quarter, the first was a 51 yard run and the second was when he hurdled a player in full stride. The Voles answered and scored to make it a 28-25 game. Georgia punted but they put Tennessee inside the 5 yard line which lead to a fumble for a score in the end zone for Georgia (Towers). Georgia 35 Tennessee 25. Worley answered and scored a touchdown to make it a 35-32 game where it would stay. Todd Gurley stats are related to math, because of his career high 208 yards. The Win for the University of Georgia relates to AP Human Geography, because if Georgia continues to win that would result in a bigger profit for the university which they could use for better education which would help the economy because of increase in learning. That all relates to people and how they would affect the environment.
