Georgia pulls out a conference win against Tennessee

Georgia 35 Tennessee 32
On Saturday, A young Tennessee Voles came to Athens to face Todd Gurley and the Georgia Bulldogs and lost in a very close came. The game started with Tennessee up early by 10 to 0, but the Bulldogs put up a fight and came back with a 3 yd. touchdown run from quarterback Hutson
Mason after Gurley ran for 16 yd.(Towers) The defense stopped the Voles but quarterback Hutson Mason throw a interception on the next drive. On the next drive, the Bulldogs used running backs Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb to score and take a 14-10 lead(Towers). The Bulldogs then scored off of Chubb's touchdown catch. The bulldogs had scored 21 unanswered points so it was up to quarterback Worley and running back Hurdy for Tennessee to score and they did just that off of a 23yd. catch from wide receiver Jason Croon(Towers).  The third quarter was silent scoring wise but the forth was different. The 4th quarter was also called the "Gurley Quarter" after he finished the day, according to Chip Towers, with his career high 208 yards on 28 carries. He had to big plays in the forth quarter, the first was a 51 yard run and the second was when he hurdled a player in full stride. The Voles answered and scored to make it a 28-25 game. Georgia punted but they put Tennessee inside the 5 yard line which lead to a fumble for a score in the end zone for Georgia (Towers). Georgia 35 Tennessee 25. Worley answered and scored a touchdown to make it a 35-32 game where it would stay. Todd Gurley stats are related to math, because of his career high 208 yards. The Win for the University of Georgia relates to AP Human Geography, because if Georgia continues to win that would result in a bigger profit for the university which they could use for better education which would help the economy because of increase in learning. That all relates to people and how they would affect the environment.

  1. This is a wonderful post about a marvelous team (UGA). It is great and makes you seem like you are a real sports reporter and maybe somebody should hire you as one. The only thing is that you should include some thoughts and feelings into your post. Great post and i will continue to read your wonderful post.

    1. Bryce, I have really enjoyed reading your well thought essay on the game of Georgia versus Tennessee. I also love Georgia Bulldogs and have been a fan since day one. I loved watching this game and watching Georgia make a comeback. They have continued their winning streak and are 5-1 as of right now. I cant wait to watch their next game versus Arkansas. It is for sure going to be a victory and you'll have lots to write about on that game. It may be a little more difficult to get points on the scoreboard due to Todd Gurley being suspended for selling autographs , but its whatever right? I also could not agree with you more on the relation to math with all the statistics and what not. Also the refrence to Ap honors geography and the Uneversity of Georgia.

  2. I think that this blog is good for Georgia Bulldogs football fans for updates and stats that are probably not able to watch the game or watch highlights. -Xavier Puckett
